I was travelling in a foreign vehicle
If you were travelling in a foreign vehicle, your right to compensation is determined by the rules applicable in the country in which the accident occurred.
In the majority of countries outside Sweden, as the driver you are not entitled to compensation if you are involved in a single-vehicle accident or if you yourself were liable for the accident. However, you may be entitled to compensation if you were a passenger.
The vehicle was insured
If you were travelling in a vehicle insured in a foreign country, personal injury claims are primarily dealt with by a Swedish claim representative of the foreign insurance company. If there is no such Swedish representative, TFF will deal with the personal injury claim.
The vehicle was uninsured
