Who is responsible for the personal data Swedish Motor Insurers (TFF) processes?
We are responsible for processing personal data concerning visitors. We are also responsible for correct processing.
Why does TFF process personal data?
Form with information
When you visit us to talk about a payment demand or claim you need to fill in a form at our reception. On the form, you provide information about your name, personal identity number, telephone number and reference number (for payment demands) or case number (for claims). We will also ask you to show an ID document. After your visit the form is disposed of in a confidential waste bin.
Legal basis: To be able to meet our legitimate interest in knowing who is on our premises and to maintain the security and safety of our employees.
Storage period: After your visit the form with your personal data is disposed of in a confidential waste bin.
Camera surveillance in our reception area
For security reasons, visitors are recorded by surveillance cameras in our reception to create a secure and safe environment both for visitors and for us. The camera surveillance does not record sound.
Legal basis: Our legitimate interest in maintaining security and safety in our reception area. We do not need to apply for permission from the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection for this camera surveillance because it is based on a balance of interests.
Storage period: We save film footage from the cameral surveillance for 30 days. If there is suspicion of crime, film footage may be saved for a longer period of time. In that case the film footage will be saved until no longer needed as evidence.

Where does TFF get your personal data from?

We provide information about the camera surveillance at the entrance and thus notify you that you are filmed when you visit our reception area.
Who can see the personal data that TFF processes?
Only authorised staff at our subsidiary and personal data processor Svensk Försäkring Administration AB (SFAB) can access the data.
Who does TFF provide personal data to?
Film footage from our camera surveillance may, if there is suspicion of a crime or other incident, be submitted to our security company, a law enforcement agency and emergency services.
We and SFAB process personal data in Sweden. No personal data is transferred to a third country.
